TNT Sports Box Office is the pay-per-view arm of TNT Sports, giving fans access to some of the biggest one-off sporting events not included in a standard subscription. While TNT Sports already offers an extensive lineup of live sport across its main channels, Box Office is reserved for premium events, typically high-profile boxing fights and UFC showcases.
This model allows viewers to pay only for the events they want to watch, rather than adding an unavoidable extra cost to the regular TNT Sports package.
What Is TNT Sports Box Office?

TNT Sports Box Office is a pay-per-view (PPV) service, meaning fans purchase access to individual events on a one-off basis. These broadcasts sit outside the usual TNT Sports channels, so even existing subscribers must pay an additional fee to watch. The service was launched in April 2018 (then known as BT Sports Box Office) and was added as an option through Sky TV in late 2019/early 2020.
What Sports Are Shown on TNT Sports Box Office?

Unlike the main TNT Sports channels, TNT Sports Box Office does not provide continuous sporting coverage. Instead, it remains inactive most of the time and is only used to broadcast selected pay-per-view events from a limited range of sports. Very few events make it to the Box Office, so the channel regularly goes months without showing anything
Boxing
Boxing is a big focus of TNT Sports Box Office. Over the years, it has broadcast some of the sport’s biggest names and most anticipated bouts. Big-name heavyweights like Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua have all featured on TNT’s PPV channel. Boxing action is not just limited to the heaviest weight division though. The first fight on the channel saw Gennady Golovkin take on Saul Alvarez for the middleweight crown.
As long as it is a fight or card with big names that will attract a big audience, it is going to have Box Office potential. The 5v5 Queensberry vs. Matchroom boxing event in 2024, for example, featuring the likes of Daniel Dubois and Hamzah Sheeraz, made its way to the Box Office.
It is worth mentioning that TNT Sport are not alone when it comes to providing major boxing action in the UK. Netflix are trying to establish themselves as a major player in the game. As well as showing Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua, they secured the exclusive rights to show Fury vs. Arslanbek Makhmudov (and supporting card) on 11 April 2026.
For non-exclusive events, viewers can often also access fights through Sky Sports Box Office and DAZN Boxing PPV, not just TNT Sports Box Office. When this happens, viewers often pick the channel that has the commentary/punditry team they prefer. TNT’s team often features the likes of Laura Woods (presenter), Carl Frampton, Anthony Crolla and Denzel Bentley, with commentary from Paul Dempsey and Richie Woodhall.
UFC
TNT Sports brings you live coverage of every UFC card from across the USA and beyond. Often, the coverage features on a standard TNT Sports channel, and is therefore included in a regular TNT Sports subscription, rather than heading to the Box Office. Only a select few UFC events end up being pay-per-view. One more recent example was UFC 324, which took place in January 2026 and saw Justin Gaethje take on Paddy Pimblett.
As with boxing, TNT Sports faces competition from Netflix now when it comes to airing UFC. The streaming giants landed the rights to show May 2026’s MVP event featuring Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano and Nate Diaz vs. Mike Perry.
WWE & Football
TNT Sports has previously shown major WWE events such as WrestleMania and SummerSlam on their Box Office channel, such as WrestleMania 40 in 2024. However, Netflix secured the rights to become the exclusive global broadcaster of WWE Raw from January 2025. With this being a 10-year arrangement, it means live WWE content is unlikely to return to TNT Sports Box Office anytime soon.
Some viewers may also remember a period when TNT Sports Box Office (then known as BT Sport Box Office) broadcast individual Premier League matches. This even included games played at the traditional 3pm Saturday slot. However, this was only a temporary arrangement during the 2020/21 season due to COVID-19 disruptions and has not been repeated since. You will no longer find football on the TNT Sports Box Office.
How Much Do Box Office Events Cost?
Prices for TNT Sports Box Office events vary, but typically hover around the £20 mark. For example, UFC 324 and Beterbiev vs Bivol 2 both cost £19.99. While inflation may push prices slightly higher in the future, broadcasters are aware that charging significantly more than £20 risks pricing out UK viewers, many of whom are less accustomed to the concept of PPV than fans in the States.
TNT Sports Box Office vs Regular TNT Sports
There’s an important distinction between the main channels on TNT Sports and its Box Office service:
| Feature | TNT Sports Channels | TNT Sports Box Office |
|---|---|---|
| Payment | Monthly subscription | One-off payment |
| Content | Regular live sports | Premium events |
| Access | Included in packages | Paid separately |
| Sports | Many inc. football, rugby, tennis, motorsports | Mainly boxing & UFC |
How to Watch TNT Sports Box Office

TNT Sports Box Office is widely accessible across the UK. You can access TNT Sports via your TV provider, whether it be EE TV, Virgin Media or Sky. All you need to do is find the TNT Box Office channel (Sky channel 490, EE TV channel 494) and you can purchase it using your remote.
You can also access Box Office coverage through Prime Video or HBO Max. These two streaming options enable you to watch on a laptop, desktop or tablet. No matter what option you choose, the key thing to remember is that you do not need a full TNT Sports subscription to watch events. Moreover, there are no discounts for existing TNT Sports customers when it comes to Box Office events either. Pricing is the same for everyone, regardless of your TV package, or lack thereof.
